CAE Dressage was built around a shared passion for developing exceptional horses. Founded by international dressage riders Diego Gonzalez and Amina Bursese, CAE combines competitive sport, selective breeding and thoughtful horse development within a boutique private program in Jupiter, Florida. Their approach is based on producing horses that are not only capable athletes, but willing, confident partners with the temperament and education necessary for long-term success.

CAE HEAD TRAINER
Diego Gonzalez represents his native Mexico in international dressage competition and is a USDF Bronze, Silver and Gold Medalist.
Raised around Lusitano horses on his family's cattle ranch, Diego's horsemanship began long before his dressage career. His education later took him to Spain, where he trained with Álvaro Domecq, before continuing his competitive career in the United States.
Today, Diego focuses on developing horses through the FEI levels for international competition while selectively accepting horses for training and sales.
His training continues under the guidance of FEI 5* Olympic Judge Gary Rockwell and U.S. Olympic Team Bronze Medalist Lisa Wilcox.
AMINA BURSESE
International Dressage Rider | USDF Gold Medalist
CAE STALLION RIDER
Amina Bursese is an international dressage rider and USDF Bronze, Silver and Gold Medalist competing through Grand Prix.
Amina's primary focus is the development of CAE's competition horses and breeding stallions, with a particular passion for the Iberian sport horse.
As and Adult Amateur, her experience developing horses through the levels directly influences CAE's breeding philosophy: horses should be selected and bred not simply for pedigree or appearance, but for rideability, athletic ability, temperament and the qualities required to progress in sport.
In addition to traditional dressage, Amina also enjoys developing horses through cross-training, Western Dressage and Working Equitation.

Our horses are trained with the long-term athlete in mind, incorporating variety, turnout, conditioning and cross-training alongside classical dressage work.
Whether developing a future Grand Prix horse, a breeding stallion or an amateur partner, our goal is the same: a horse that is confident in its work, physically prepared and enjoyable to ride.
