Developing horses through the levels is at the heart of CAE Dressage.
We specialize in thoughtful, individualized programs for young horses, breeding stallions and mares, sales horses and established dressage horses, with particular expertise in developing Iberian sport horses.
Rather than following a single formula, each horse's program is tailored around its age, temperament, physical development and long-term goals.
BREEDER DEVELOPMENT
For breeders seeking professional development and exposure for stallions, mares and young prospects.
From backing and young horse competition through FEI development, CAE can provide a long-term pathway for promising breeding horses.
DRESSAGE TRAINING
Individualized training from young horse through Grand Prix for both competitive and non-competitive horses and riders.
Whether you're looking to enhance your horse's education or aiming to compete at CDI's, our program is customized to align with each client's aspirations.
SALES HORSES
A limited number of suitable horses are accepted for professional training, presentation and sale.
We handle every aspect from training to professional photo and video, competing (if desired), marketing, presenting to clients, vet exams, contracts and payments.
CROSS TRAINING
Dressage is our primary discipline, but our horses benefit from hacking, conditioning work, cavaletti and varied cross-training. We also compete in Western Dressage, Working Equitation and Andalusian & Lusitano Breed shows.
Flatwork programs for jumpers and carefully managed return-to-work programs may also be available.

EXPERT GUIDANCE
The CAE training program benefits from continuing guidance from Olympic medalist Lisa Wilcox and FEI 5* Olympic Judge Gary Rockwell, along with regular clinics from Portuguese Olympian Gonçalo Carvalho and U.S. Working Equitation Team Coach Miguel Undabarrena.
